Shepherd Group meets Sunday, September 25

The Brewster/Dennis Shepherd Group will meet on Sunday, September 25 at 5:00 p.m,. at the home of Nancy Ludewig, 1510 Long Pond Road, Brewster.  

Don and Monika Kienzle will talk about Don's parents' pet quail known far and wide as "That Quail Robert."

Join us for "Breakfast with Buddha"

The book discussion group will kick off its 2011-2012 season on Sunday, September 18 with the best seller, "Breakfast with Buddha," by Roland Merullo. 

This entertaining and provoking novel about cynicism and belief together with a travelog through  contemporary America should be a welcome opportunity for anyone interested in joining the discussion, which takes place after the 10 o'clock service. Given the later hour, we  will begin discussion promptly after the service rather than allowing time to participate in coffee hour so that we should end by noon.
