Bishop Shaw was consecrated a bishop in 1994, and became the 15th bishop of Massachusetts in 1995. A life-professed member of the Society of St. John the Evangelist, a religious order or priests and lay brothers in the Episcopal Church, he is in demand nationwide as a preacher and retreat leader. His writings include the recent book, "Conversations with Scripture and With Each Other."

Via Media -- A Safe Place to Ask Questions
You are Invited!
Join us for supper and conversations about Christian Faith
Friday evenings 6 – 8 pm
starting February 17
Come and discover more about "via media", which means "the middle way," an essential quality of the practice of faith in the Episcopal Church. To find out more ask someone with an “Ask me about via media!” label.
The gatherings run Fridays from February 17 through April 13 with the exception of Good Friday, April 6.
